Systems Engineer

We are looking for an engineering nerd who loves to explore new technologies and build optimized solutions according to customer needs. We would like to hire a tech-savvy and analytical individual with strong ambition, great potential and infected with “the Knack” according Dilbert.

Your Challenge:

• Develop and implement new signal processing solutions for GNSS and related applications
• Evaluate and propose algorithmic improvements in the signal processing chain of existing OHB Digital products
• Create and design the system architecture (HW + SW) for solutions to fulfil customer needs
• Evaluate and integrate solutions based on COTS hardware components like software-defined radios
• Closely work together with the software engineers and product managers to optimize the solution for customers

Your qualification:

• A master’s degree in electronics, telematics or similar (communications technology, signal processing, etc.)
• At least three years’ experience as an engineer for signal processing or data transmission
• Extensive knowledge in the field of software-defined radio and related topics
• Experience with GNSS applications is an advantage
• Exceptional in analytic thinking, creativity and problem-solving
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Quick understanding and good analytical skills
• Enthusiasm for product development and problem-solving
• Good communication and coordination skills inside the engineering department
• Fluent in German and English
• Location Graz or Vienna
