Product Manager

We are looking for a person who is excellent in listening and in understanding customers’ needs and requirement and translate them into specification of new (software) Products considering the competences of OHB Digital Solutions.

Your Challenge:

  • Translate the OHB Digital Solution vision into a dedicated product-segment vision, by understanding the market, customers, competitors, standards, regulations, technology and trends
  • Develop growth strategies and drive action to get (GNSS quality assurance, signal simulation) to market and ensure profitable sales growth
  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring long-term, sustainable business models for your product positioning
  • Market research, market requirements and competitive offerings definition
  • Manage all aspects of the product features by obtaining customer and market feedback and requirements gathering
  • Decide on requirement implementation priorities and review implemented requirements regarding market acceptance and customer value
  • Support proposal development and quote submission to customers
  • Ensure product development and growth initiatives are successfully executed to meet market, technical and financial requirement
  • Prepare and executive product launches and campaigns in alignment with marcom and OHB Sales Resources
  • Identify and develop partnerships (internal and external)

Your Qualification:

  • University degree in Telematics, Telecommunications, Informatics, Software engineering, Geodetics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B product management/ Product marketing
  • Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and positioning
  • Technically proficient / conversant in GNSS Technologies
  • Strong business analysis and strategy development skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with cross-function and globally distributed teams
  • Skills such as analytic thinking and creativity
  • Willing to travel (approx. 25%)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Location Graz
